So, why My Otter Ego, you ask? Well, let me spill the otterly awesome tea to ya...

Picture this:  a bustling household with a wife, a mom of three, former teacher, corporate businesswoman, and serial entrepreneur.  Are you dizzy yet?  Basically, I take on more roles than a Hollwood actor!  With all those different roles & hats to wear, I sometimes feel like I have a few too many personalities to keep track of.

First of all, I’m a devoted wife, keeping my otter half happy and amused with my playful antics (AKA craziness).  Then, I’m a proud Momma of three amazing otterlings, always navigating the wild waters of parenting with a splash of humor and sarcasm.  For the past 10 years, I was a high school business education teacher, teaching all business courses including financial literacy, accounting, graphic design, and cybersecurity.  I now work in the corporate world and in my spare time (what little there is) I find time to work my side hustles!  My life is somewhat of a zoo…I mean, a zoo of roles, not the actual animal kingdom, although it definitely feels that way sometimes! 

I stumbled upon the otter personality type one day and had a moment of revelation.  Those playful, water-loving otters were like my spirit animals, frolicking through life without a care in the world.  Lurking in the depths of my otterly chaotic life, I realized the otter was my alter ego, a multi-faceted persona capable of being serious and silly, depending on the situation.  Plus the pun on ‘alter ego’ just couldn’t be ignore.  With this name, I can be whoever I want to be!  

And that, my friends, is the story of how My Otter Ego was born!  It’s a quirky and playful representation of the otter personality type and my chameleon-like ability to adapt to various roles.  When you dive into my shop, you’ll immerse yourself in the deep blue sea of my mind, where creativity rolls in like the waves!
